Cabin and modular building transport

Vehicle you need

A hiab crane lorry lifts a cabin or modular unit off its own bed and places it precisely on site; oversized units travel on a low-loader with an escort.

Site cabins, welfare units, portable offices, modular classrooms and log cabins are usually delivered whole. A hiab crane lorry carries the unit and lifts it into final position without needing a separate crane on site.

The deciding numbers are weight, the unit's dimensions, and how far the lorry can get from the final position — crane reach falls sharply as the load moves further from the vehicle. Send photos and measurements before booking.

Units over 2.9m wide are abnormal loads and need movement orders, route planning and sometimes an escort. A specialist operator handles that paperwork.
