This explains what data HeavyShift collects and how we use it. It is a plain-English summary and will be reviewed before public launch.
What we collect
Profile views: we log anonymised page views for operator profiles to produce view counts. The session identifier is hashed and holds no personal information.
Enquiries: when you contact an operator we collect your name, email, and the details you provide, so the operator can respond.
Operator accounts: when an operator claims a listing we store their email address to manage the account.
How we use it
To operate the directory, deliver enquiries to operators, show operators their view counts, and process Premium subscriptions. We do not sell your personal data.
Processors we use
Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (subscription payments), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service.
