Excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and other plant are moved on low-loaders and beaver-tail trailers that can be loaded by driving or winching the machine on.
The right trailer depends on the machine's weight, height and whether it's tracked or wheeled. Tall machines need a low deck to stay within the legal 4.95m travelling height.
Give the operator the make, model and weight so they can confirm the trailer rating and any abnormal-load requirements.
